The WCPREE is an initiative of the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) and is supported by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management (GA).
Public Relations Society of Kenya
Established in 1971 and registered as a society, the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) represents the interests of public relations and communication management practitioners in Kenya.
The society’s mission is to promote excellence in Public Relations and Communication Management by providing a forum for public Relations practitioners to exchange skills, knowledge and ideas while upholding the society’s core values of professionalism, excellence, integrity and dynamism.
PRSK continue to support the working and objectives of the Global Alliance and was among the more than 20 professional associations involved in the founding of the body in Chicago in 2000. Through its members, PRSK continue to participate in GA forums such as the WPRF’S in Rome, South Africa, Sweden, Melbourne and Madrid. The Society is also a signatory to the GA Universal Ethics Protocol.
PRSK subscribes to other public relations networks that include East African Public Relations Association (EAPRA), Africa Public Relations Association (APRA) and International Public Relations Association (IPRA).
