Communication Scholars & Practitioners Roundtable

Carefully put together by leading practitioners and scholars in the field of public relations and communication management, the Roundtables will take place on Monday November 16, 2015. Featuring group discussions, panel and plenary sessions, the Roundtables theme is: Bridging Theory & Practice. There is argument to suggest  disconnect between theory and practice for many professionals working in public relations and communication management practice. The theme is influenced by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management research and shared information to examine the possibility of identifying or developing a global educational standard for the practice. Presenters and participants will explore the link between theory and practice to determine the impact this has in preparing market ready communicators and excellent practice performance.
