Over 500 participants from 21 countries across five continents worked together to constructively reflect on how strategic public relations and communication management can drive change and innovation on some crucial issues affecting emerging economies.
Kenya and Africa in general and the Public Relations Society of Kenya (PRSK) in particular were honoured to host the first World Conference on Public Relations in Emerging Economies (WCPREE) in Nairobi on November 15-18, 2015.
Organised with the support of the Government of Kenya through the PRSK’s Patron Ministry of Information, Communications & Technology (ICT) and Global Alliance for Public Relations & Communication Management (GA), the WCPREE brought to Kenya, not only a PR landmark event, but a major communication opportunity.
Providing great intellectual and social interaction, the Conference attracted over 500 participants from 21 countries across five continents that included delegates, speakers, and sponsors. The four day event included pre conference masterclasses, scholars and students workshops, the main conference and exhibition.
The conference discussions centered on emerging economies as centers for innovation and change were guided by a large pool of renowned speakers that included professors, educators, researchers, consultants, and other global PR authorities.
